Día 2
Historic Quito + Half of the World
- BREAKFAST At the hotel. City Tour: Historic Quito + Half of the World
- HISTORICAL CENTER. We will visit the historic center, the largest and best preserved in South America, in one of our original Trolleys, which are a replica of the trams that circulated in Quito last century.
- VOTE OF THE NATIONAL. We will visit, the Church of the Basilica of the National Vote, where we will make a brief stop for an explanation of its facade, then move to the Mirador del Panecillo, an iconic place of the city, recognized for its beauty, and where a statue is located giant of the "Winged Virgin", from where you can admire a beautiful landscape of colonial and modern Quito. Later we will continue to the Plaza de San Francisco, one of the representative places of the city, and full of history, from where we will walk to the Plaza Grande, historical and political center of the city, surrounded by innumerable attractions among them: the Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace and the Church of the Company.
- ROUND. We continue our tour knowing the traditional neighborhood La Ronda, in whose romantic environment we can find workshops where our visitors will learn with a group of authentic craftsmen, how their works are made, and trades of yesteryear that keep alive the cultural traditions of this charming city. (Tickets to churches are not included).
- PINK AREA . We will make a stop in the pink area of the city, about an hour and a half to have free time for lunch (not included) and then continue with our excursion to the Middle of the World.
- HALF OF THE WORLD. We go to the "Middle City of the World", where you can see the monument that divides the northern hemisphere from the southern hemisphere of the planet. It was built in the 18th century where the French scientific expedition defined the exact position of the Ecuador line that divides the world and is an unmissable place for those who visit Quito. Includes entrance to the Middle of the World complex where you can live unique experiences that challenge the laws of physics and occur only in this place in the World. After visiting this privileged place and registering it in your passport, you will always see Ecuador and Half the World differently.

Quito Market Tour & Chapel of Man

- MODERN QUITO . Tour that begins in the center-north of the city, in the commercial and banking area of Modern Quito.
- TRADITIONAL CITY MARKET . We will move to one of the traditional markets of the city, where we can enjoy the colorful landscape that produce stalls full of fruits and vegetables from all regions of our country. Without a doubt, this is a place full of familiar flavors, and the best opportunity to know a variety of locally consumed products that mix with the offer of very striking items such as aromatic and healing herbs, world-renowned roses and nationally produced spirits , among others.
- GUAYASAMÍN . Later we will visit the Guayasamín House Museum also known as the Chapel of Man (entrance included), of the most important plastic artist of Ecuador in the modern era, and we will know the great value of the artistic heritage that this teacher left to the country.
- GASTRONOMY Gastronomy and street art of Quito
- GUAPPLE We will move to the traditional and historic neighborhood of Guápulo, where we will walk through its picturesque cobbled streets as did the founders of the city of Quito, and enjoy its incomparable viewpoint of the landscape of the valleys that surround the city and the church of Guapulo , former monastery of colonial construction.

We will go to the Plaza de San Blas gateway of the historic center of Quito, from where we will go on foot to the first Pub located in a traditional neighborhood in the area where we will have a tasting guided by a master brewer, using the 5 senses to Discover the flavors of craft beer.
