Train of the Devil's Nose and Ingapirca
- Experience two of the most interesting destinations in our country. This incredible ride traverses and descends a nearly perpendicular mountain face through the use of switchbacks. Many lives were lost in the construction of this extraordinary railway.

Itinerary
Día 1
Excursion to Nariz del Diablo and Ingapirca
- After hotel pickup, we will head to Alausi, a small town considered national heritage.
- In this charming city you will take the train known as "La Nariz del Diablo". In its day it was considered one of the greatest feats of engineering the world had ever seen.
- This railroad was built in 1899 with the intention of linking the coastal city of Guayaquil with the highland capital of Quito. This incredible ride crosses and descends an almost perpendicular mountain face through the use of curves.
- Many lives were lost in the construction of this extraordinary railway. Our journey continues along the Pan-American Highway towards Ingapirca, which is the main Inca archaeological site in Ecuador.
- You will have the opportunity to appreciate one of the most important Inca structures, an elliptical platform known as the "Temple of the Sun". Here you will also find patios, terraces and other ruins. After a full day of touring, we will return to Cuenca.
