Full Day Quilotoa Lagoon Excursion
- Laguna de Quilotoa, The Avenue of the Volcanoes is a sample of the incredible power of nature. One of our favorite places is located west of the Ecuadorian Andes known as "Quilotoa". Its name comes from quichua "quiru" which means tooth and "toa" princess. It has a diameter of approximately 3 km.
- The peculiarity of this volcano is that in its caldera it contains an emerald green lagoon, which sometimes turns bluish during daylight. Fantastic legends keep this beautiful place, in addition to a diverse flora and fauna characteristic of the moor.
- The Quilotoa lagoon belongs to the Los Ilinizas Ecological Reserve, which is part of the Cotopaxi Province.
