Full Day to Walk in Canoe and Visit Waterfalls in the Jungle
A walk along waterfalls, listen to the sound of the water, feel its energy and refresh yourself in them is what you need to recharge yourself. You will get to know the incredible Napo River and sail by canoe through its waters, from the first river port of the Amazon, the port "Misahuallí" to the community tourism center "Kamak Maki" where we will explore the Kichwa culture of the Amazon and will see wildlife and medicinal plants. You will also be delighted with the exquisite Amazonian cuisine with 100% organic ingredients. The chicken or tilapia maito, or the chicken tamale in bijao leaf, are dishes that you can not miss in eastern Ecuador.
Starting point
The meeting place will be in the city of Archidona or Tena . We will pick you up at your hotel . If they are not hosted anywhere, then the meeting point will be the hotel "Palmar del Rio Premium" located in Archidona via Sinchi Sacha, two blocks from the Municipality. The time of the meeting will be at 9am , enough time for them to have breakfast and prepared.
Itinerary

Canoe ride, but before hike next to waterfalls ...
Pick up: 09:00 am. The day of the tour we wait for you in the city of Archidona or Tena; We pick you up at 9 am at your hotel or from the hotel "Palmar del Rio Premium" located in Archidona. Visit to the Latas waterfalls: 09:30 am. Our first stop will be the "Latas" waterfalls; here we will have a walk along the river crossing several waterfalls in the middle of the jungle; On the way, natural slides are formed, ideal to have a fun time slipping. We will arrive until the last waterfall, the highest, we will have a snack and we will continue the tour. Lunch: 12:30 pm. After the tour to the waterfalls, we will go out to enjoy a delicious Amazonian dish of chicken or fish (tilapia) prepared in bijao leaf, with 100% organic ingredients, yucca or green and accompanied by a delicious and cold guayusa. Canoe ride in Misahualli: 02:00 pm. After enjoying lunch at Misahuallí, we will take a motor boat (canoe) to navigate the majestic Napo River to the community center "Kamak Maki" where we will enjoy a walk through the Kichwa cultural museum and the wildlife rescue center of the place. Here you will learn about ancestral traditions, customs, traps and tools to live in the jungle, exotic animals and medicinal plants. After this walk, we embarked again in the canoe to return. Return: 05:30 pm. We will be back to the initial meeting site at approximately 5:30 pm.
