Itinerary
Día 1
Welcome to Suchipakari Jungle Lodge - Medicinal Plants - Walk to the Gigantic Ceibo - Tubing in the River
- DRINK Your stay starts with a refreshing drink.
- LUNCH After having settled in your room, a delicious lunch will be served.
- TREKKING After lunch, you will be provided with rubber boots for a short walk, accompanied by our native guide. He will share his knowledge in local MEDICINAL PLANTS , such as: dragon's blood, ginger, guava and straw, which is used for the construction of houses and the preparation of costumes and instruments for their Communities.
- GIGANTESCO CEIBO. You can also swing like Tarzan and take a picture at the GIGANTESCO CEIBO , the famous giant tree of the Amazon. During the trip you can also observe a variety of birds, including woodpeckers, kingfishers, sandpipers, toucans, orioles and the famous cacique.
- SWIM & TUBING. Then we will return to the Lodge to change and put on swimsuits, and we will provide life jackets and buoys, for SWIM & TUBING on the Pusuno River to the Lodge. After dinner, your guide will explain the activities of the next day.
Día 2
Jungle Walk - Waterfall & Natural Pool - Kichwa Food “Maito de Tilapia”
- BREAKFAST
- WATERFALL After a delicious breakfast, we will walk in the jungle to the CASCADA with rubber boots. Along the way, our guide will explain the flora of the area such as bamboo, laurel, cocoa and orchids. He will explain to us the use of these plants in everyday life. An example is that they use the color of some plants for their pottery, clothing and other objects. In your JOURNEY WITHIN THE TROPICAL JUNGLE you will find, with several different species of monkeys, bats among others.
- PICNIC LUNCH. You can enjoy our picnic lunch on the river. It is possible to slide along the gigantic stone platform 50 meters away where the River forms a NATURAL TOBOGAN . You can also relax in the NATURAL SPA , which is formed by different rocks, one on top of the other.
- TYPICAL DINNER This makes it a special place for bathing. Back to Suchipakari to savor a TYPICAL DINNER and sit around a campfire to talk with everyone about the adventures.

Trip in Canoa - Landscapes on the Napo River - Visit to the Indigenous Community - Trap Museum
- BREAKFAST.
- TRIP IN THE RIVER. After breakfast, you should be ready for the RIVER TRIP . Take your rubber boots and life jacket to embark on the trip over the Napo River. Here you will embark on a canoe to go to the INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY. It is a community project that tries to preserve the ancient knowledge of its region, teaching visitors the Kichwa culture and other cultures of the Ecuadorian Amazon. The name, Kamak Maki in the Kichwa language means working with your hands.
- MUSEUM His next activity is in a MUSEUM where you can learn about traps to catch animals in the jungle. You can also learn to shoot a hunting weapon. Here you can observe some snakes, parrots, and other wild animals. You will continue the canoe trip along the river to the KICHWA COMMUNITY where you will learn their traditions, typical dance, music and culture.
- TYPICAL FOOD. Here we will have a delicious typical local food. You can also take the opportunity to buy handicrafts and souvenirs made by the youth of the community, of materials that the jungle offers to make necklaces, bracelets, crowns, etc. In addition, a community guide will explain about the sacred stone and the experiences of a Shaman.
- BEACH OF LOS MONOS. We will return by canoe to PLAYA DE MONOS.
- RETURN. To the lodge.

Día 4
Canoe on the Napo River - Amazon Animal Rescue Center.

- NAPO RIVER. After breakfast, we will walk about 20 minutes to the foot of the Napo River where we will take a motorized canoe.

- Behind the banks of the Arajuno River is the famous ANIMAL REFUGE known as AMAZON . This shelter was founded with the purpose of protecting and caring for the native and wild animals of the area that have been injured, mistreated or confiscated and delivered because they were being smuggled. This is a great opportunity to observe exactly what the natural habitat in which these creatures live, something that is quite difficult to reach since they are inside the jungle such as: ANACONDA, BOA CONSTRICTOR, GUACAMAYOS, TUCANES, LOROS, MONOS, TAPIR , CAIMAN, SAHINO, JAGUAR, and REPTILES.
- LODGE Return to the lodge. You will learn to use the LEGENDARY WEAPON . The CERBATANA that is used by the Kichwa people as a method of hunting, of monkeys, birds, tapirs and other animals. A liquid that comes from the mixture of plants and animal venom, the same as the locals call them "curare", works as a paralyzing agent on animals that want to hunt.
