Itinerary
Day 1
Jungle Acclimatization
On the morning of our first day, a motorcyclist and a guide of our lodge will be waiting for you at the Cuyabeno River Bridge, the main entrance to the Cuyabeno Fauna Production Reserve, from this place we will take motorized canoes that will take us to the lodge, in where our staff will be waiting for you to register, have breakfast and rest from our trip, we have hammock areas and common room or if you decide to rest in your room. Our first adaptation walk in the primary forest will be about 3-4 hours. We will know about the flora, medicinal plants, native and fauna of the place. We will return to the camp to have our dinner. We will have time to rest in our hammock area, to be able to swim in the river and prepare for after dinner to take a canoe tour observing alligators, we will sail downstream with the help of flashlights we can observe your eyes; We will return to the lodge to rest and recover energy
Day 2
LAGOON OF CUYABENO / PINK DOLPHINS
Departure 07:00 am : Our day will begin with breakfast at 07:00 am. We will prepare our equipment and take a motorized canoe to the Cuyabeno Lagoons, in our crossing we will observe primates (monkeys), some species of colorful birds, river turtles, with a bit of luck anacondas resting in the trunks of the trees. In the lagoon we walk in its waters, (in summer it is possible to swim with pink dolphins), we will visit an indigenous community with whom we will participate in daily activities such as the production of Cassabe, cassava bread typical of this area. Near the night we will return to our camp, we will have our dinner and time to rest. For those who wish to continue with their day after dinner we can do a short night walk, with the possibility of finding several insects, spiders or snakes.
Day 3
REMO A QUILLA AND FISHING OF PIRAÑA
Our third day after breakfast we will do some adventure activity, we will sail upriver in paddles (keels) up the river Cuyabeno and until we reach a small river, where it is possible to carry out demonstrative piranha fishing. After lunch, our services will end, you will have time to rest and enjoy our surroundings at an agreed time your guide will take you to the Cuyabeno River Bridge to be able to take the vehicle to return home or continue with your journey.
Day 4
BIRD OBSERVATION AND HIKING
In the morning we will go out to observe the birds, for this we will walk inside the primary forest. Then we will have our breakfast and time to rest. After lunch, our services will end, you will have time to rest and enjoy our surroundings at an agreed time your guide will take you to the Cuyabeno River Bridge to be able to take the vehicle to return home or continue with your journey.
